🛠️ SURFACE PREPERATION (Before Spraying)

1. Cool the Stove Completely: Ensure the appliance is completely cold before starting. Never spray onto a warm or hot surface.

2. Remove Loose Rust and Flaking Paint: Use a stiff wire brush or medium-grit sandpaper to scrub away all rust, scale, and old, bubbling paint down to the bare metal.

3. Degrease and Clean: Wipe down the entire surface with a lint-free cloth and mineral spirits (degreaser) to remove soot, dust, grease, and fingerprints.

4. Dry Thoroughly: Allow the metal to dry completely before applying the paint. Moisture trapped underneath will cause the paint to bubble later.

5. Mask Surrounding Areas: Use painter's tape and old newspapers to protect the glass door, nearby walls, and the hearth from overspray drift.

Free collection is available from FDC, within 2 working days of receipt of your order, we will contact you when the item is ready to arrange a collection time. Please note our opening hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am - 12:00pm, and 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
